LaCrescent

The LaCrescent grape has been humorously referred to as part of the "Polar Bear Gang" because it has been able to survive -36 F weather! Developed at the University of Minnesota to be tough and cold-hardy, La Crescent is the result of a St. Pepin x Swenson cross. It is useful in producing sweet white wines, and as a component of blends.
