The first vines at North Carolina’s Biltmore Estate were established in 1971. Today the 94-acre estate vineyard is the most visited winery in the United States. Located in a valley near the French Broad River, its varieties include Chardonnay, Riesling, Viognier, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot. But Biltmore also bottles non-alcoholic products. It only seems fitting that this American castle, the nation’s largest home, would choose Concord and Catawba native American grapes for its juices.
